Dear Faithful CBM-Project Amazonas Partners and Friends, November 2025
``Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his presence with praise, give thanks to him and praise his Name.``
`` Let us come before him with thanksgiving.`` What else can we say but: `` the Lord is good and his love endures forever, his faithfulness continues through all generations.``
We have been blessed and guided by him for these 56+ years. Now that we (Earl and Ruth Anne)
have slowed down some, it is a real blessing for us to see our children taking over the responsibilities of leading the CBM-Project Amazonas Ministry. Even our grandson (Jonathan Whitacre – Kim`s son) is a big help to us and ready to take over all stateside responsibilities if and when needed.
Our mission work in the Amazon depends a great deal upon the help we get from our supporting
churches. The prayers and financial support are always needed as inflation and expenses increase each year. Church groups that help with the Amazon Boat Trips are important, as we now are scheduling trips for 2029 and 2030. We cannot say enough about the need we have for vitamins and meds for each trip. There are 400-600 individuals that receive medical help on each trip. The people we help in each village get to go to the drug store once or twice a year and that is when the boat visits their village. We will need your help in 2026 as we plan to do 12 trips. The Brazilian dentists continue to help on each trip. Their schedule is already complete for the entire year. One of the Brazilian dentist did her Master`s thesis on the dental ministry that is done on the boat and was able to help on three trips in 2025.
The Amazon missionary crew has been revived and challenged by Michael, Junior and Pastor Agostinho as they begin a two-year growth project. It has given them a new vision, which is already seeing growth in their churches and villages. Please pray for them!
As you can see from the page of pictures, our plane project is well underway and ready to
receive your prayers and financial help. We would like to have it operating in full force by the end of 2027.
Please be in prayer for our annual CBM Trustees Meeting, which will be on November 22 at ICOM.
