Note from Merle Franks about obtaining e-Visa:
I thought I should give more details about applying for the
Visa. Click on the apply eVisa now tab. When that opens
there is a list of things to download. I thought I had to send
all of them and I was wrong. You only need to download the
first four. They are, a copy of your passport, a passport
photo, a copy of your bank statement, and a copy of your
itinerary. The key with all of these needs to be 1 mb or less.
Once that is done you can go to the bottom of the page and
click on (Save and Continue). A new page will come up and
ask for information from your passport and other
information. When all of that is done you will be asked to
pay. The cost is $80.90. You will be sent a receipt.
They asked for a contact in Brazil. (Info below).

NEW: Make sure every team member is physically able to enjoy the Amazon experience. The trips are not usually strenuous, but people with severe health problems, balance difficulties, or mobility issues requiring the use of ambulation assistance devices (I.e., crutches, walkers, etc.) should not come on the boat trips. Central Brazil Mission reserves the right to refuse travel on the boat for any person deemed to be a safety hazard.
NEW: Make sure your team understands that smoking, the use of alcohol or illicit drugs are strictly forbidden on the boat. Bad attitudes are not well tolerated either !
