Dear CBM Partners and Friends, July, 2021
Would you believe we are cold today? The temperature has dropped to the low 50’s and 60’s! But we are fine and getting ready for our 6 Amazon Boat Trips starting August 3. Pastor Agostinho and his wife, Maura, will also be going on this first trip to do some training with our Amazon missionaries and get the schedule worked out for 2022 training dates.
Please be praying for those coming to help on these trips: good health, Covid testing, flights, customs, helping in the villages, etc… and their return Covid testing before boarding the flight back to the U.S.
Just a few notes about what is going on here with our CBM Ministry:
1). Letícia is busy with her first of two years of a type of residence training but is really enjoying it. She is now in her 5th year of medical school.
2). The boat crew has been busy making some changes on the boat and trying to get it painted. It has been raining in the Amazon for weeks and has flooded in Manaus and nearby towns as well as the entire Amazon Region.
3). Our Amazon missionaries continue to evangelize and make disciples. The villages are in need and anxiously waiting for the visit from the boat. There have been a number of baptisms during these last few months. Work continues on the fruit farm and the concentrated juice factory and we will visit it and the Buçusal area on the September boat trip.
Thanks again for your faithful partnership with us.
Sincerely,
Earl and Ruth Anne
