CBM Partners,

As I reflect on Paul’s words, we can see three points in this verse: (1) God can do it; (2) God will do it; (3) Don’t be afraid to ask God for what you want.

We continue to see God’s power exceeding any limit imposed by circumstances. God continues to use CBM Project Amazonia: Christ, Life & Health to fulfill its mission to “make disciples, make better disciples and you will make more disciples.” We want the people in the Amazon to know Jesus and to have “an abundant life” in and with Him.

We are starting our fourth trip of this year on April 14 through April 25. We have seen almost 50 volunteers come to the Amazon for trips of a little over 10 days. Because of their willingness to serve, we have been able to provide care for over 30 villages, 1500 people treated medically and 450 dental procedures done. We have been able to support our local missionaries with encouragement, prayer and spiritual growth as we help them minister to their communities. We have also been able to provide some of our missionaries with a new johnboat to help them with their ministry for efficiency and safety as they travel the waters visiting and discipling. All of this because of your partnership and generous support.

We just finished our second leadership seminar with over 45 in attendance between missionaries, preachers, wives and their disciples. This is a great time for instruction, spiritual growth, encouragement, counseling and the sharing of some of their good brought for meals such as fish, fruits, manioc and killed game.

We are excited that one of our churches, Urucara, will be hosting for the first time, our convention of the Churches of Christ in the North. Preparations are being made by all for this event in August.
