CBM MISSION TRIP

CONNECTION POINTE CHRISTIAN CHURCH - 21 - 31 JULY, 2026

Hi everyone! My name is Mariah Shelton and I am one of the women that attended this most recent mission out to the Amazon! This is my second time going on this trip, the first being in 2023 when I was still a nursing student. This trip I have to experience the work of the Lord in new ways by assessing patients and prescribing medications as well as helping assist our dentist in extracting teeth and filling cavities! We were able to aid 5 different villages and a total of 609 medical patients and 125 dental patients. With the wonderful work of our missionaries, 18 people dedicated their lives to Christ as well! My time on this mission trip has been incredibly impactful, truly opening my eyes to the profound ways God works through both the wonderful staff, and the beautiful hearts in the people I have met. I am leaving full of gratitude for this experience and the chance to witness such powerful faith and community in action.
